THE TABERNACLE CIGARS:
Tabernacle cigars are a supreme creation from Foundation Cigar Company owner Nicholas Melillo. The former production head at Drew Estate Cigars. Whose past work includes gems like Liga Privada No.9.
The Tabernacle cigars are medium to full-bodied. Using a blend of the highest quality Nicaraguan tobaccos harvested from AJ Fernandez’s La Soledad farm. Premium filler from Honduras. A Mexican San Andres binder finished with a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.
They culminate in a full body blast of earth, sweet cedar, red pepper, and rich chocolate notes transitioning to mocha, spices & a subtle sweetness through the finish. It is worth noting that Melillo was born and raised in New Haven, CT, renowned for producing the world's best Broadleaf cigar tobacco.
Melillo says that his Tabernacle cigars are a way to "show my love for Connecticut Broadleaf," and adds, "Broadleaf is more than tobacco for me. It is something sacred."
