Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario cigars are limited edition cigars, special released in 2006 as the 30th Anniversary of Arturo Fuente Don Carlos premium cigars created as a tribute by Carlos Fuente Jr. for his father, the patriarch of the Fuente family, Carlos Fuente Sr. The Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario are Dominican puros rolled with aged Dominican long fillers & binders that swap out the flawless African Cameroon leaf for the same wrapper used on the OpusX cigars a beautiful Dominican Shade Grown wrapper. Once the cigars are rolled they are placed in the aging room where they rest for an additional 2 years bringing out the fullest taste in the tobacco creating a full-bodied complex experience of earthy notes with leather, spices, pepper, wood and a subtle sweetness.
