Rose of Sharon is a premium blend of Piloto Cubano, Nicaraguan Ligero & Seco long-filler tobacco in a Nicaraguan binder & finished in a smooth Ecuadorian Sun Grown Connecticut wrapper. A pleasant smoke for me with mild to medium body & smooth flavorfully sweet notes of oak, spices, earthy leather, pepper & roasted nuts with a cream & sweetness throughout. Waking your palate up before the Nicaraguan Corojo ‘99 wrapper joins the party. I picked up smooth & balanced medium-full body notes starting with spices to rich cocoa, leather, nutmeg & peanut butter with cinnamon, graham cracker & coffee flavors in the final third on an oily finish. Herrera Esteli Norteno Robusto Grande (5.5×54) 94-Rated, Cigar Aficionado No.7 Cigar of 2017. Rolled in Nicaragua by Drew Estate & blended by Willy Herrera featuring a dark soft box-pressed Mexican San Andres wrapper covering an aged Honduran binder & premium all-Nicaraguan long-filler blend. The Norteno is an underrated cigar in my opinion; it has a med-full body with complexity in flavors from notes of spice, rich milk chocolate, cocoa, earthiness, coffee & pepper. The richness in flavor stuck out to me in the Norteno complimented by spice & a meaty earthiness. Good for pair with your favorite full body libations. MSRP $9.12
Crowned Heads Juarez Shot Limited Edition 2021 (4×50) rolled in collaboration Tabacalera Pichardo factory in Nicaragua with a zesty Mexican San Andres wrapper, Dominican & Nicaraguan long-fillers & an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder. Only 500 boxes of Juarez Shots 2021 were released & they are Smoke Bombs providing tons of smoke off the foot and flavorful med-full body notes of dried fruits, spices, cocoa, black pepper & an earthy hearty finish.
