Cigar of The Month Club July ’21

Ashton VSG Sorcerer (7×49) 94-Rated No.12 Cigar of 2020 by Cigar Aficionado, blended by Carlito Fuente Jr. & rolled at A.Fuente in the Dominican Republic. VSG is the most prized blend in the Ashton portfolio, rolled with an aged Dominican long-filler & binder blend, wrapped with the highest priming of Ecuadorian Sun Grown Sumatra-seed leaves grown by Angel Oliva (last month MagnumR wrapper used 2nd priming from same plants). The VSG is aged for 6-months once rolled & has a razon sharp burn delivering full bodied complex notes of chocolate, espresso, cabinet spices, leather, cedar, pepper & dark fruit flavors on a long oily finish. Recommend smoking while sitting to fully enjoy the complex flavors & power. Box Worthy- in any VSG size! MSRP $12.90

Undercrown Maduro Toro (6×52) Created by the Liga Privada No.9 rollers, incorporate many of the same rare tobaccos found in the Liga Privada blends. Undercrown Maduro are encased in a beautiful San Andres Maduro wrapper that captures smooth earthy creamy notes with a hint of coffee, cocoa, a nuttiness, wood, vanilla & warm spices on the finish. A great consistent flavorful cigar that I hope you enjoy. MSRP $9.55

Guardian of Farm Apollo by Warped Cigars (6×44) 93-Rated No.8 Cigar of 2017 by Cigar Aficionado, a Nicaraguan Puro rolled at TABSA cigar factory in Nicaragua using a Corojo 99 wrapper & binder, with a long-filler blend of Corojo 99 & Criollo 98. The Apollo is loaded with flavors & almost a journey through the spice cabinet with medium bodied flavorful notes of cinnamon, almonds, cedar, pepper, vanilla, nutmeg & sweet cream. MSRP $8.75

Espinosa Wasabi Robusto (5×52) blended by Erik Espinosa and rolled in Limited Production at La Zona cigar factory with a smooth Candela wrapper over an undisclosed dark binder & long-filler tobaccos. The Wasabi is smooth in texture with a core richness & unlike other traditional mild grassy Candela cigar profiles. The Espinosa Wasabi was med-full bodied for me with notes of pepper, rich spices & cocoa followed by cedar, pepper, earth, & dark coffee. I was surprised about how rich in flavor & smooth each puff was during the 1st two thirds. MSRP $8.35

RoMa Craft Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion McFarland Perfecto (5×50) Hand rolled in Nicaragua this boutique cigar featuring an oily Ecuadorian Habano Ligero wrapper, an Indonesian Besuki binder with Nicaragua & Dominican long fillers. The Whiskey Rebellion is a popular med-full body cigar with notes of spices, coffee, creamy earthiness, cocoa & leather. One of two perfecto shaped cigars featured this month!   MSRP $7.70

Quesada Keg Lonsdale (6×44) released annually around St.Patrick’s Day in limited production & blended to pair well with craft beers, IPA, Stouts & St.Patrick Day beers like Guinness. Rolled in Nicaragua at Plasencia with Nicaraguan long-filler & binder blend & a dark Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper. These Quesada Keg Lonsdale are aged 3 years from 2018 & offer med-full body notes of cocoa, leather, oak barrel, coffee & earth.  MSRP $6.35

CAO Cameroon Aniversario Perfecto Limited Edition (4×48) *NEW JUNE 2021 RELEASE* rolled in Honduras with a rich Nicaraguan long-filler & binder blend & wrapped in an aged Cameroon leaf. The short perfecto is mellow & naturally sweet enhanced by an earthy Cameroon wrapper for mild-medium body notes of cedar wood, cocoa, leather & pepper. All & all a great quick smoke that is pleasant & tasty for mornings or lunch breaks. MSRP $5.60
