Rocky Patel Grand Reserve Toro (6×52) *CIGAR OF THE YEAR 2018 by Cigar Journal Europe * rolled at Rocky Patel’s boutique cigar factory in Nicaragua in an undisclosed blend & released as European Exclusive in 2018. These are Luxury Medium-Full body cigars with Complex Notes starting Rich with Chocolates, Coffee & Spices that transition to Leather, Nuts & a Barn like Wood Earthiness. I picked up Creamy Sweet Undertones throughout with hints of Dried Fruit & Pepper on a long oily finish. I’d recommend holding off a week or so before toasting this up, they have progressively tasted better each time I fired one up & hope you get to make the most of it.  MSRP $13.10 

My Father La Opulencia Toro (6×54) *95-Rated No.2 Cigar of 2018 by Cigar Aficionado* a creative combination of the renowned original My Father cigar & Cigar of the Year Le Bijou 1922 cigar! Features a rich Cuban-seed Nicaraguan long-filler blend combined with two Nicaraguan binders & encased in a dark opulent Mexican San Andres Rosado Oscuro wrapper.  The La Opulencia Toro provides the richest flavors & aromas with full body creamy notes of cocoa, leather, roasted coffee, cinnamon & sweet earthy spices! Since released in late 2017 the La Opulencia has been my favorite My Father cigar & I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. MSRP $12.10 

AVO Classic Maduro Robusto (5×50) offers the same creamy, smooth flavor in the AVO Classic, but with an added intensity from the American Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. The Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper leaf is aged 3 years, naturally fermented for 3 months & then fermented again producing a rich hue covering the signature AVO Classic’s long leaf filler tobaccos’ that are Aged 25 Years.  AVO Classic Maduro offers a mild to medium intensity with Medium body notes of Creamy Tobacco, Milk Chocolate, subtle Spices to Cedar Wood & roasted Mocha flavors. This cigar had surprisingly extremely Rich Flavors & was a dessert-like smoke.  MSRP $9.80 (2 out of 3 I had were Flavor Bombs) 

Crowned Heads Four Kicks Capa Especial Robusto (5×50) *NEW FALL 2020 RELEASE* rolled in the Dominican Republic at E.P. Carrillo cigar factory with one of Ernesto-Perez Carrillo’s favorite wrappers: a pristine Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf covering the Four Kicks’ sweet & spicy Nicaraguan binder & aged Dominican & Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. Four Kicks Capa Especial Robusto is silky smooth with a balance medium-full body profile & tasty notes of warm rich spices, coffee, cedar, nuts & rich earthy flavors. MSRP $9.35 

CAO Bones Blind Hughie by Rick Rodriguez (6×54)*NEW SUMMER 2020 RELEASE* rolled in Nicaragua with Dominican Piloto Cubano, Honduras & Nicaragua long-filler, a Connecticut Shade binder & USA Broadleaf wrapper. CAO Bones has balanced Medium body notes of sweet tobacco, pepper, earth, nuts, vanilla & wood. The Bones looks dark & strong, but it’s not. Medium to Med-full at best. Possibly something for Halloween.  MSRP $7.99 

Punch Knuckle Buster Habano Toro (6×50) *NEW SUMMER 2020 RELEASE* hand crafted in Honduras at the HATSA with premium Nicaraguan & Honduran tobaccos at a great price. Blended with Honduran & Nicaraguan long-fillers, a Nicaraguan Habano binder & premium Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. You can expect a medium strength & body profile with tasting notes of coffee, pepper, cocoa, cream, spice & an earthiness. MSRP $5.50
