Cigar of The Month Club December ’20

Sin Compromiso No.5 by Dunbarton Tobacco (6×54) A Top Shelf Boutique Cigar earning a 94-Rating #1 Cigar of the Year 2018 by Cigar Snob. Rolled in Nicaragua at Joya de Nicaragua cigar factory with Nicaraguan aged long-fillers, hybrid Ecuadorian Habano Ligero binder and enclosed in a deep brown Mexican San Andres Negro wrapper. Sin Compromiso No.5 is med-full bodied filled with complex rich notes of espresso, cocoa, leather, hints of citrus & a unique undertone of rich smokey sweet spices on a long smooth finish! A Special Occasion Cigar. MSRP $17.45

Diamond Crown Julius Caeser Robusto (4.75×52) A super-premium Dominican cigar hand crafted at Arturo Fuente cigar factory with Cuban-Seed tobaccos grown in the Dominican Republic, Central American long-fillers and an Ecuadorian Havana Seed wrapper. The Julius Caeser is a delicious medium to full body cigar that has an awesome flavor profile of aged cedar, mild cream, pepper, milk chocolate & baking spices. Through the final third a nuttiness & sweetness appear with more leather, chocolate, earth, pepper, coffee & hints of raisin notes. Take your time with this cigar to help those flavors transition & complement each other beautifully.  MSRP $12.25

Tabernacle Broadleaf Toro by Foundation Cigars (6×52) A supreme creation from master cigar blender Nicholas Melillo, aka Chief of Broadleaf, owner of Foundation Cigar Co. & former head of production at Drew Estate Cigars whose past work includes cigars like Liga Privada No.9. The Tabernacle Broadleaf uses premium Honduran long-filler & Nicaraguan long-fillers from AJ Fernandez’s La Soledad farm, in a Mexican San Andres binder with a rustic Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. The profile is a full body blast of earth, sweet cedar, red pepper, and rich chocolate notes transitioning to mocha, spices & a subtle sweetness through the finish.  MSRP $11.75

Camacho Coyolar Rothschild (4×50) a premium blend that was discontinued in 2013 & re-released in 2018; the Coyolar is a Honduras Puro rolled with “Single Farm Vintage” Camacho Criollo tobaccos grown in volcanic soils of a small 15-acre farm beneath the mountains that join Nicaragua & Honduras. The Coyolar is a powerful full body cigar with heavy smoke that is sweet & spicy from flavors of rich cocoa, black pepper, coffee beans, leather & earthy sweet chocolate notes. Quite possibly the strongest or Top 2 fullest bodied Camacho blend! MSRP $8.80

Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Maduro Figurado (4.75×56) *NEW FALL 2020 RELEASE* A Nicaraguan Puro re-blended by Nick Perdomo in 2019 with 6-year aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper from the Jalapa valley region that has been bourbon barrel-aged for 14 months. A 6-yr aged Cuban seed Nicaraguan binder & long-fillers complete the blend that has had an additional 12-months rest in cedar rooms. I picked up Med-Full bodied rich & robust flavors on a clean smooth draw with sweet tobacco, pepper, cocoa, espresso & hints of dark chocolate notes. Nick Perdomo recommends this cigar is a great pairing with Scotch & Bourbon. MSRP $7.25

Surrogates Cracker Crumbs by L’Atelier (4.5×38) hand crafted by Pete Johnson rolled at My Fathers Cigar Factory in Nicaragua with Nicaraguan binder and long filler, then completed using an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper leaving pleasant notes of dark cocoa, coffee, cherry fruit notes with pepper throughout. MSRP $3.00
