Crowned Heads Las Calaveras EL 2025 features a Mexican San Andres wrapper for the second time (2018) however this time it comes from a mid-priming resulting in a lighter Colorado color as opposed to the more commonly seen darker maduro shades of Mexican San Andres wrappers used. Handcrafted at the My Father Cigar S.A. factory in Esteli, Nicaragua with an all-Nicaraguan long filler blend inside a Nicaraguan binder, finished with a flavorful Mexican San Andres wrapper. Jon Huber has stated “This particular wrapper really complements the blend and allows for the coffee, espresso, and toffee notes to come to the surface that can typically get lost under the pepper and earth profile that the darker, higher priming wrappers yield.”
