E.P. Carrillo Pledge Purple
Pledge Purple builds on the legacy of the original Pledge, sharing not only its name but also its foundation in expertly aged tobacco. Master blender Ernesto Perez-Carrillo of Casa Carrillo reserved select wrapper leaves from the original Pledge release, continuing to age them at his factory to further develop their richness and complexity.
This cigar features the same dark, inky Havana-seed Connecticut wrapper used on the inaugural 2020 release, now aged to nearly a decade, sourced from the renowned Connecticut grower Dunn & Foster.
While the wrapper remains consistent, Pledge Purple introduces a new blend beneath the surface. It is constructed with a Mexican binder and a carefully selected blend of Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí, Condega, and Ometepe, delivering a refined and dynamic smoking experience.
Offered in a single size, the Toro (6 x 54), Pledge Purple is a testament to patience, craftsmanship, and the evolution of an already celebrated blend.
