StillWell Star by Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust have been masterfully blended by Steve Saka using the finest cigar and pipe tobaccos available, with no expenses spared. DT&T has stated “Steve Saka, while known for being one of the world’s foremost cigar experts has also been a pipe smoker for over three decades. For many years he has casually crafted handmade cigars incorporating some of his favorite pipe tobaccos into blends for his own personal consumption. While he would typically use “English” style blends, he would also mix it up with a few Aromatics, Orientals and others. While he enjoys his pipe smoking, cigars remain his first love and doing this allowed him to combine the flavors and aromas only a pipe could offer into his beloved puros. The end result is a truly mesmerizing smoking experience. Four unique cigars each with its own personality, deftly blended to afford the smoker the nuances of the flavors and aromas of the pipe blends, yet working in concert with the black cigar tobaccos. Balance, measured, refined and elegant are all hallmarks of StillWell Star.” Check out the blend descriptions below.

StillWell Star by Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust:

Bound in a rich San Andres leaf and also finished in a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.

Aromatic No.1: “The best of Black Cavendish, Golden Virginia, and Burley pipe tobaccos added to a mild, puro. Provides a smooth and very room-pleasing note. Making it a good time for the smoker and those around them. Finished with a Cabeza dulce.” Medium Strength

English No.27: “A mix of Burley and Turkish leaf with some Cypriot Latakia pressed cake. Also, put it with Nicaraguan cigar tobacco. Rich while not being too much, this is a Latakia-Lover’s puro worthy of being smoked.” Medium Strength

Bayou No.32: “A mix of Bright and Red Virginia leaf with the most select St. James Parish pipe tobacco added to a medium-bodied puro. This begins the mildest of all, but the Perique really starts up in the end with a spicy finish. It rewards the smoker with that classic combination of zest and umami that is great for the palate.” Medium-Full Strength

Navy No.1056: “A crumble cake of Red and Golden Virginia tobaccos with a touch of “Naval Rations” mixed with Orientals and Latakia. Blended with dark air-cured black cigar leaf. This puro gives the smoker a fresh, medium-bodied aromatic indulgence.” Medium Strength

    StillWell Star English No. 27:
I’m someone who also enjoys a pipe, especially in the winter. I was very excited to give these a try and the line didn’t disappoint. This English is hands down my favorite in the line and I will always keep these on hand as long as Steve keeps making them.

    StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1:
As a pipe smoker who definitely enjoys aromatic blends, C&D and Saka hit a home run with this blend. Two masters in the business putting out an absolutely amazing cigar.

    StillWell Star Bayou No. 32:
My 2nd favorite in the line and reminds me of smoking my pipes. Just a delicious smoke, especially when I’m in the mood for a pipe, but don’t want the hassle. Just light up and enjoy.

    StillWell Star Navy No. 1056:
If you ever wanted to experience the joys of smoking a pipe, but are a little hesitant. Pick up this cigar and you’ll know why so many people like myself enjoy pipes and the many tobacco’s available. C&D has delivered and really did a fantastic job putting the experience of pipe smoking in a cigar.

I enjoy all of their smokes, #27 is my favorite. Very good construction, just a well done smoke.
